Thanks to everyone who pledged to this campaign. We fell a little short of where I wanted to be, but I'm going to take a look at the numbers and art needs and see if I can't make it work to illustrate each monster. That's what we did with Vol. 1, and I'd like the two to match as closely as possible.

As on right now we're still on the schedule I set. I try not to bombard y'all with updates, so I'll plan on checking in every month or so. As I mentioned in an earlier update, I'm trying to liquidate my personal inventory of POD books, and am selling them at a steep discount. This includes copies of Vol. 1 of the BX Advanced Bestiary.

Thanks again!

Update #3
6 months ago – Wed, Apr 03, 2024 at 06:14:21 AM

Just a quick update with a week left to go.  Art has started to pour in. I'm hoping we can hit -- or at least get close to -- the stretch goal for each monster getting a new piece of art. Also, I've made the decision that I'm only going to stock offset copies of my books, so I've put my remaining stock of POD copies on drastic sale: 50% off while supplies last. I'll still be selling the POD versions through Drivethru, so if you're overseas and don't mind POD this remains the best way to get a physical copy.

Anyway, thanks for your support, and here's some art:

Quivering Puddle, by Teresa Guido
Dreamlands Ghoul, by Denis McCarthy
Bone Ooze, by Carlos Castilho
Jubilex, by Adrian Barber
Ostrich-harpy, by Francesco Accordi
Awakened Giant Ferret, by Marco Ortiz Walters
Michelle Smallwood, Interior Chapter Art

Update #1

Thanks to everyone who has backed thus far and helped us reach where we are in just a short 24 hours. I'm going to polish the monster list I've been using to track art needs and send it off to artists this weekend to get them started, and will be sharing the finished products as they come in.
